Full Description
I have experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, and adults using cognitive behavioral-, psychodynamic-, and trauma-informed approaches through my education at the American University of Beirut and training at International Medical Corps. I am further trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as delivered by Beck Institute.
Short Bio
I work with adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, self-image and self-esteem, relational problems, or the effects of trauma. I help individuals uncover a deeper understanding of themselves using practical and evidence-based tools. My main approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focusing on identifying and changing patterns that contribute to emotional distress. This means we look at how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another and how certain patterns may contribute to distress. Together, we work to understand these patterns and develop practical tools to help you manage challenges and make meaningful changes in your life. I also pay attention to how past experiences and relationships may shape current difficulties, helping you gain deeper insight while building strategies for change. I provide only online sessions, which are collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your pace.
